ROLE: Design and update a website for wine e-commerce

Vision
Mansa Cava was born as a start-up looking to help small winemakers to sell their products all across Argentina. Throughout time, more wineries and bigger companies presented their wines on the website.
Challenges
Competitors offering similar products on the internet
Updating wines and prices monthly because of inflation
Offering personalized customer service within the platform and during the entire purchase experience
Growth through social media and advertising
The challenge was to create a competing platform locally and nationally, which a clean view and enjoyable user experience
User Journey
I investigated about other companies in the same province and in the country, to check their purchase funnel and obtaining a better procedure for ourselves.
Guiding questions:
Who could use this site?
What does the user want to buy?
How does the user reach us in case of a question?
What information should be displayed in each product?
How could we maintain a good communication in every step of the purchase?
How will we know if the user got a good experience?
Wireframe
Inspired by other sites and after interviewing people about their online purchase habits, we managed to launch the e-commerce platform.
What we achieved by doing this:
Clean and simple homepage with display of relevant options
Clear division of products in brands and types
Ilustrations and descriptions on every bottle
Simple steps for purchase and follow-up
Online chat for questions and guidance
